Dave Fuller

MS/US Humanities, Administrator

Dave teaches MS/US Humanities, Senior Econ, and Upper School Revolutions this year, believing that students learn best when they are moved out of their comfort zones, asked to interact with others, and express themselves in ways they didn’t consider before.

Dave is passionate about teaching Middle and Upper Schoolers because they keep him young and informed in ways that adults cannot always do. Making a positive difference in their day is very important to him.
Dave comes from a long line of teachers, specifically his mother and grandmother, and the tight bond with both of them shaped how he enters the classroom and forges relationships with young people.
Dave is always astounded when people describe his class as, “We’re always playing games!” While competition and ideas DO come from his experience with games, everything that his classes do is founded on expressing material in a different way which may FEEL like games, but is simply just experiential.
Dave is the Director of Extracurricular Activities and sponsors Quiz Bowl, Board Game Club, and Jigsaw Puzzle Club. He also will take the lead on SCISA Student Government this year.
