Clubs/Summer Camp

Chess Club

Sponsored by faculty member Nikki Brockman and taught by Stuart Chagrin, Chess Club meets weekly on Wednesdays from 3:15-4:15 p.m. It is open to students in all grades and the cost is $140 (*interested students receiving financial aid should contact Mr. Kreutner for their costs). Novel Club

This club meets on Fridays at 3:15 p.m. It is open to Middle School and Upper School students with a strong interest in writing. The club will engage students in everything it takes to compose a novel, from character and plot development to writing with a clear point of view and helping the reader visualize the setting.

Quiz Bowl Club

This club meets on Tuesdays at 3:15 p.m. It is open to students in all grade levels who want to expand their knowledge on a broad array of topics from history and language to current events and culture.

STEAM Club

This club engages students in fun, hands-on activities focused on science, technology, engineering, arts, and math.

Intermediate School STEAM Club meets on Mondays at 3:15 p.m.

Middle School/Upper School STEAM Club meets on Thursdays at 3:15 p.m.

Summer Camps

Our Young Explorers Day Camp is geared toward rising 3rd-5th graders who are current, incoming, or prospective USL students, this camp offers a sampler of our "learning by doing" model through daily field trips, interactive learning, games, and so much more. This year we will offer two sessions: June 10-14 & July 29-August 2, both from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Please email Alauria Corbin with questions!
