Being small creates BIG opportunities

We all know that small class sizes make it possible for our faculty to give students one-on-one attention when it comes to academics, but have you ever stopped to think about the other benefits of attending a small school?
Staying small is what makes our hallmark LOTC program possible–we couldn’t take a field trip every week with 200+ students.
We’re like family, too, because in a small school no one is forgotten or ignored. We care for one another and know when a student needs extra support.
We love that our students get to learn just as much from each other as they do from our faculty members. It’s amazing to see our Upper School students mentoring our younger students. At USL, friendships form across all age groups and everyone gets to learn how important it is to have and be a role model.
What else do you like about being part of a small school?
